Day 16 - January 16, 2010
Grandma & Grandpa Johnson came over early this morning so that Grandpa could play with Noah. They could only stay for an hour...they were on their way to the airport. Reuben is leaving for Africa for 2 weeks to do missionary work. Noah is really going to be lost the next couple of weeks with daddy & grandpa gone!
Day 15 - January 15, 2010
Tonight Mom, Melanie, & I went to the Jarrett Center in Byron to Crop from 2 to 11pm. This crop was ONLY $3 tonight...can't beat that! No food provided though so we had to make a Subway run! Mom worked on cards and I put together layouts for the Lake Geneva crop next weekend. I'm STILL trying to finish Noah's baby book & move onto year 2. I also worked on my 365-Project of Life album.
Day 14 - January 14, 2010
Today I went to Rolling Green to help out Noah's class. All of the Hearing Impaired classes took their kids behind the school to the hill to go sledding. The kids had so much fun! Noah wasn't wanting to go until the very end he went with one of the male teachers and had such a BLAST! I'm so proud of him for FINALLY going down that hill!
Day 12 - January 12, 2010
On January 12, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti. We anticipate there will be between 100,000 and 200,000 dead in total, although we will never know the exact number."
The images that are pouring in from Haiti are so heartbreaking. It just seems like there should be so much more that we can do. Sad day today for many.

Day 10 - January 10, 2010
We had our last Christmas today with the Olson's. Uncle Craig & Aunt Teresa gave Noah a new train set...which had to be put together the minute he opened it. Good thing we opened presents after we ate lunch because we had to take one of the tables down so that it would fit in the kitchen! We took a group photo on Katie's new camera but she hasn't sent it to me yet...that is what I really wanted to use as my pic for the day. It has been since Jan. 2005 since we have taken a group pic...WAY TO LONG!!

Day 8 - January 8, 2010
Bill and I had the house to ourselves tonight. We spent a quiet night at home and watched I Love You Man and the Knowing. What a movie selection! Both of these were so different but really good. I can't even remember the last time we had a night in by ourselves and snuggled on the couch all night. I'm thinking that it might have been before we were married...sad I know!! We need to make date night a more regular thing around here!
Day 7 - January 7, 2010
I love the look of fresh snow. Today we had our 1st Winter Storm of 2010. The weather man was calling for almost 13inches by the time the storm was over but of course they were wrong. When I took Noah to school we had about 4 inches and total throughout the day maybe 6 to 8 inches...a little off! Bill had to drive to his 1st day of work down south at the Clinton Exelon Outage. It took him almost 4 hours for a 2.5 hour drive but at least he got there safe! The trees in the picture are in our front yard.

Resolution Time
It is that time of year again...resolution time! As I look back at the last several years of resolutions I didn't do so well. Most of them consisted of good health and wealth. All of those are still important to me but there is something new that I'm adding to my list this year. Most people know that I have a love for taking pictures and then scrapbooking them into beautiful albums for my friends and family. I have started a new project this year called 365 Project of Life. For this project I'm going to take a picture a day to record everday life for my family. It is day 6 of the new year and all is going well. I thought that it would be fun to create a blog so that all of my friends and family can see this project as it develops! We will see how this goes! I will be posting the 1st few days of pictures later tonight.
